John King Chains Marks 100 Years with Global Cement Front Cover and Special Feature
John King Chains is featured on the front cover of the October 2026 issue of Global Cement, as the company celebrates its centenary year.
The issue includes a special feature on page 34, looking back at the John King Chains story and the development of the business since it was founded in Yorkshire in 1926.
Over the past 100 years, John King Chains has experienced significant changes in both manufacturing and the industries it serves. From its early involvement in British heavy industry, the business adapted as traditional markets changed, developed its export activity and later established operations internationally.
The feature also looks at the continued development of the John King Chains Group, including investment in manufacturing and engineering capabilities, the growth of Site Services and the addition of Precision Chains and DAB Valves.
The October issue comes during a significant year for John King Chains as we mark 100 years since the company was founded in 1926.
